The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the online application process for recruitment to 45 Group A and Group B gazetted posts under various ministries and departments of the Government of India. The application window opened on May 9, 2026, and interested candidates can apply through the UPSC Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal till May 29, 2026.
According to the recruitment notification, vacancies have been announced for several posts including Senior Administrative Officer, Assistant Mining Engineer, Professor, Translator and specialist engineering positions in different government departments and institutions.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of recruitment tests and interviews depending on the post applied for. Applicants are advised to carefully check educational qualifications, experience requirements and category-wise reservation details before filling out the application form.
The latest UPSC recruitment drive is expected to receive a large number of applications from candidates seeking central government jobs in administrative, technical and academic sectors.
