The South East Central Railway (SECR) has started the recruitment process for 1,644 apprentice vacancies under the Apprenticeship Act for the 2026 session. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the Apprenticeship India portal until June 4, 2026.
According to the official notification, a total of 1,363 vacancies have been announced for the DRM Office, Raipur Division, while 281 posts are available for the Wagon Repair Shop, Raipur. Candidates who have passed Class 10 examination with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade are eligible to apply.
Applicants must be between 15 and 24 years of age as of May 5, 2026. The selection process will be based on merit prepared using marks obtained in Class 10 and ITI examinations.
The recruitment drive is expected to attract a large number of candidates seeking railway apprenticeship opportunities and technical training under Indian Railways. Candidates are advised to carefully read the official notification before applying online.
