AP EAMCET 2026: Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education is set to conduct the AP EAMCET 2026 engineering stream examinations later this week for thousands of students seeking admission into engineering, agriculture and pharmacy programmes across the state.
The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) 2026 is one of the state’s biggest entrance examinations and will be conducted in computer-based mode at multiple centres.
Candidates appearing for the engineering examinations are advised to carefully follow all examination-day instructions and verify their admit card details in advance. Students must carry:
- Hall ticket
- Valid ID proof
- Recent passport-size photograph
Authorities have warned that candidates arriving late may not be allowed entry into examination centres after gate closure timings.
The AP EAMCET examination plays a major role in admissions into undergraduate professional courses offered by colleges and universities across Andhra Pradesh. Lakhs of students are expected to appear for the entrance test this year amid rising competition for top engineering institutions.
Students are advised to avoid carrying electronic devices, calculators, Bluetooth gadgets or written material inside the examination hall. Biometric verification and frisking procedures are also expected to be implemented at centres.
Meanwhile, educators have advised candidates to focus on:
- NCERT-based revision
- Formula practice
- Mock tests
- Time management during the final days before examination
The preliminary answer key is expected to be released after completion of examinations, following which candidates may be allowed to raise objections within a specified period.
Students are also advised to regularly monitor the official examination portal for updates regarding answer keys, response sheets and counselling schedules.
With the examination beginning later this week, candidates across the state are entering the final preparation phase ahead of one of Andhra Pradesh’s most competitive entrance tests.
